Georgia Law Authorizing the Board To Promulgate Rules & Regulations, Set Fees and Conditions for Students of the Motorcycle Operator Safety Training Program (O.C.G.A. § 40-15-3)
Legal Commentary . This Georgia Code Section permits the Board of Driver Services to do the following with regards to the State’s Motorcycle Operator Safety Training Program:
- Adopt, publicize and establish rules and regulations for the operation of the training program
- Allow students to participate in the program
- Set fees for the program, and
- To set minimum qualifications for the students that can participate in the program

Section 40-15-3 Authorization to promulgate rules and regulations and set fees and conditions for reception of students
The board is authorized to adopt, promulgate, and establish rules and regulations for the operation of any motorcycle operator safety training program; to provide for the entrance and enrollment of students; to prescribe fees for the course; and to prescribe the ages, requirements, and conditions under which students may be received for instruction in any such program.
