In addition to helping secure the best possible settlement for injured Georgians, at Scholle Law, we seek to invest in our community by supporting students as they pursue higher education. As a graduate of the University of Georgia, Charles Scholle understands the challenges today’s college students face and is proud to offer this privately funded scholarship to help give ambitious students the opportunity to win a $1,000 payment towards their tuition. Read the instructions below to learn about the requirements and how to apply.
2020 scholarship essay question
To enter our scholarship essay competition, answer the following question in 500+ words:
What should be the scope of the first amendment in today’s society? Should it be expanded, curtailed or left alone, and why?
- You must be a U.S. resident or resident alien with a valid student ID and also registered and actively enrolled in classes at a U.S. college or university.
- Blog and Essay submissions must be unique (not submitted elsewhere) and written by the scholarship application signator.
- Applicants must submit the form (PDF) Scholarship Contest Application & Rules.
- All submissions should be in English.
- Only one submission per student will be considered.
You can submit your entry to this scholarship contest by submitting one of the following options:Option 1: Blog
Publish your submitted essay online. This can be on your college blog, or your own web site, or free blogging platform of your choice such as wordpress.com, blogger.com, edublogs.org, medium.com, etc. Your essay must:
- include at least 2 online resources (links) of relevant authoritative websites
- include 1 link to a relevant page on www.schollelaw.com
- include 1 link to a relevant page on www.enjuris.com
Submit your application and essay by email by the deadline noted above.
Ownership of entries
All scholarship entries submitted to Scholle Law, along with all copyright, trademark and other proprietary rights associated with the submission, become the property of ScholleLaw.com. By submitting an application form, you acknowledge that Scholle Law will own all rights to publish and promote the content. All entrants also agree that they consent to the use of their name, the school or university they attend, and the use of their likeness (as in a photograph) and prize information. I hereby give permission/consent to Scholle Law to use and publish my essay/blog, which will include my full name, in writing material, websites, social media, press releases or any general advertising, etc. Submitted material will become the property of Scholle Law.
Your application form must be submitted by the deadline. Winner will be selected and notified up to 6 weeks after deadline.
